noise generated by the temperature
of the CCD.
- Flat-field correction to remove artifacts
from images that are caused by variations
in the pixel-to-pixel sensitivity of the
detector and by distortions in the optical path.
Process:
- Selection of the best 400 pictures
- Removal of hot pixels
- Stacking the frames
- Mosaic Composition
- Image Deconvolution
- Bright levels adjustments
- Export to a printable format
Requirements:
- A fast computer equipped with four 64-bits processors
- 600 working hours
