Very High Resolution
Whole Moon Photograph.
Charge-coupled device (CCD) has replaced
the old photographic plate for almost
every astrophotography purposes, with
the only exception of wide angle.
Capturing the Moon's surface with both
wide angle with the highest detail, is
a long process that requires to take a
full set of pictures covering the whole
Moon´s surface and use them as tiles to
compose a mosaic.
